“Partners in Soccer”

As part of Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC’s community outreach program, we are excited to announce our third official “Partners in Soccer” with youth club, Northern Kentucky Soccer Academy (NKSA), starting in the spring of 2017. Northern Kentucky Soccer Academy is partnering with CDLFC in an effort to deliver on its motto “Better Training, Better Soccer.”

To this end, players and coaches from CDLFC will be partnering with NKSA coaches and trainers on selected nights to bring out the best in NKSA players through interactive training sessions in April and May, NKSA members will be able to attend CDLFC games at a discounted rate. While on site with NKSA, CDLFC’s players and coaches will also be handing out some promotional items as well.

The two clubs will also be partnering to provide a “NKSA Night” on July 16 at Northern Kentucky University’s soccer stadium as the Cincinnati Dutch Lions take on the FC Cincinnati reserve squad. Stay tuned for more details on these exciting events.

Director of Coaching, Wil Cagle, commented on the partnership, “[w]e are really excited about the opportunity to partner with the Cincinnati Dutch Lions.  It is a great soccer organization that is working hard to reach out and have an impact in the youth community.  We are looking forward to not only having our players see their outstanding players perform, but also having them work with our players to show them what it takes to continue to get better.”

“It is exciting to have NKSA on involved in our Partners in Soccer program,” said Brandon Ponchak, from the Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC, “NKSA is our third Partner, joining TFA and Northern Kentucky Fusion FC, in this project and we are very much looking forward to being part of the development of their soccer players. Coach Cagle and CDLFC are extremely thrilled that NKSA will be joining in welcoming FC Cincinnati to Northern Kentucky for our friendly on July 16. After several months of working with NKSA, their youth players will enjoy our season wrap up with a competitive match with FCC.”
