CDL FC travels to Louisville

Cincinnati OH, May 16 2014 – The Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC is playing their second game of the season against River City Rovers on Friday May 16th at 7:30pm. It is the second time the teams meet after they tied each other 3-3 a week ago in Cincinnati after a spectacular game.

After the 3-1 lead for River City Rovers the Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC fought back to tie the game at 3 all. Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC forward Jordan Grant scored two goals, the equalizer was scored by Jeffrey McClure.

Coach Terry Nicholl commented: “Tonight we want to start the game in the way we finished the last one. We must close down their “pass master” in midfield and deal with their fast forward, who used the space behind our defensive line. We also need better communication in the back. We pushed more men up in the second half which seemed to work better; we will consider that to start with. I am looking forward to another good competitive game.”

The game is played at John Woehrle Athletic Complex host of the Clark County Soccer Association in Jeffersonville, IN at 7:30pm. The Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC stays on the road after this game playing Southern WV on Saturday May 24th at 7:00pm. They return to Xavier University Soccer Stadium on Friday May 30th to play West Virginia at 7:00pm.
