The final match of the season will kickoff at 4:00 pm at the Mason MultiPurpose Stadium, Sunday, 7/17.  The Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC (1-9-3  6 points) will host the Derby City Rovers (6-5-2  20 points).

This will be the second meeting of these two teams in the last week as the Rovers beat the Lions 3-2 last Tuesday in Louisville.  The game was a back and forth affair as Derby led 2-0 at half, Cincinnati came back and tied the match with goals in the 60th and 68th minutes.  Derby was able to find the winner late.

The Lions are looking to end the season on a positive note and get a win in this home match.  Derby need to garner a point to ensure themselves of a third place finish in the Great Lakes Division.

Head Coach Terry Nicholl shared, “It has been a bit of a disappointing season with the record we have, and at the same time we have been in almost every game this year.  A goal here or there and our record could be much different.  Add on that we have had a brutal schedule that never gave us much relief and you can see why it has been difficult to get results.  We never got our confidence moving us forward which is so vital for the lads.”

“I look for us to play very hard tomorrow and give a good showing for the club.  These lads have never given up, they continue to give a strong effort and play with the right spirit.  Though, I am not happy with the results of our matches and I do appreciate what the men have put forth.”

The kickoff is at 4 pm.  Tickets may be purchase online at or at the ticket gate one hour before kickoff.  Adults $8.00 and youth $5.00 ~ 5 and under are always free.
