Stovall drafted by Seattle Sounders

Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC’s center back Jake Stovall got drafted by the Seattle Sounders in the 3rd round of the 2017 MLS Superdraft.

Stovall, a Centerville Ohio native and a Wright State University graduate, played for the Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC in the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons and played a vital role in helping the team qualify for playoffs, for the first time in club history, during the 2015 season and playing in the US OPEN CUP, also for the first time in club history, during the 2016 season.

Described as a very hard working and physically strong center back by his coaching staff, the Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC would like to thank Jake Stovall for all the blood, sweat and tears left on the field while playing for us and we wish you the best of luck during this new adventure in Seattle!

Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC’s PDL team will kick off their 2017 season in May and many exciting things are in the works.
