The Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC, in preparation for the 2017 PDL season, the highest level of amateur soccer in the USA, is happy to release more information on recent signings. Recently, bios on the first five players that were signed was released. Welcome to the Club: Daniel dos Santos, Haggi Amirally, Zeus de la Paz, Matthew Kesler, Jamie Leddy, Keyarash Manjoupanah, and Charlie Rolls.

Daniel dos Santos joins CDLFC from nearby University of Dayton. The Swiss midfielder, dos Santos played in 20 games for the Flyers his freshman year in 2016, and was awarded the Flyer’s Coach’s Award at the end of the year. A product of the Benfica Youth Academy, dos Santos has had U15 and U17 Swiss National Team call-ups.

Haggi Amirally, coming off his junior year at Lourdes (OH) University, is a Congolese midfielder with CDLFC. Amirally played high school with Byron Nelson in Texas where he was the team MVP. Prior to joining Lourdes, Amirally played with NJCAA member Carl Sandburg (IL) College where he was All-Region IV.

Zeus de la Paz is coming to CDLFC from the Netherlands. The PSV Eindhoven youth product has been a goalkeeper for club teams Jong PSV (NL) and Nuneaton Town (UK). At the national team level, de la Paz is a former Dutch international at U16 and U18 before joining Curaçao with U20s and then Curaçao Senior Team.

Goalkeeper Matthew Kesler comes from Union (TN) University. Kesler appeared in 49 games in his 4-year career. The Tennessee native played high school soccer at Evangelical Christian School and club soccer with Tennessee Rush, where he won a state title in both high school and club soccer.

Australian Jamie Leddy comes to CDLFC from Fairleigh Dickinson (NJ) University. The junior defender played NJCAA at Sussex County (NJ) Community College where he was a region Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team NJCAA, and an NSCAA All-American.

Keyarash Manjoupanah, a 2016 freshman at the University of Kentucky, comes to CDLFC as center or right back. In high school, “Key” played two years for USSDA member Shattuck Saint Mary’s in Minnesota. Key captained the team in his senior year where he led Shattuck to the USSDA National Championships.

A two-year starter at left back for the Tiffin (OH) Dragons, Englishman Charlie Rolls joins CDLFC. The London-native has tallied three assists in his first two seasons for the Dragons while starting 38 of 39 matches. Rolls earned a conference Defensive Player of the Week award in the 2016 season. A mainstay in defense for Tiffin, Rolls has helped the team to 23 wins in his first two seasons.
